A Saudi fighter in Syria has urged his fellow compatriots to join him. In the video, he says that he is from the Arabian Peninsula, (using alqaeda's favourite name for the region), then urges his fellow compatriots to join the war against the Syrian dictator Bashar Al-Assad. The Saudi fighter says that his group needs men of religion in the ongoing war, and that Saudis fit that description.

Arab fighters are increasingly joining the war against Assad, as the Syrian army's brutal crackdown on the opposition intensifies. The Assad regime's Allawite Sectarian character is increasingly visible amid the violence; devout Sunni Arabs feel both anger against the regime & international community, and sympathy with Syrian victims.
