Majed Ben Mohamad Al-Majed, the Saudi Prince of Abdullah Azzam Brigades, an Al-Qaeda affiliated group has threatened in a new YouTube video Lebanon's Shiites with revenge and consequences for their support to Syria's regime. In a fifteen minutes long speech, Al-Majed criticized Hassan Nasrallah, Hezbollah's Secretary General, for his relentless support to the Baathist regime. "Oh Shiites, your leaders are lying", Al-Majed said, and by the end of his tape warned Lebanon's Shiites that they will pay for their silence.
Nasrallah has been consistent in his support to the Syrian Regime, despite its violent crackdown on dissidents and massacres against civilians. The Iranian sponsored party has been accused of taking part in the violent crackdown against Syrians.
Abdullah Azzam Brigades' latest threat comes after a spate of kidnappings targeted Syrian workers.
