The Lebanese army has launched a military operation in alrami village, North Lebanon to stop arms trafficking into Syria. Alrami village is in the Wadi Khaled region where there has been several reports on Free Syrian Army activity including arms and fighters trafficking. According to elnashra, the Lebanese army is using helicopters to comb the region where traffickers are known to operate. Syria had given the Lebanese side a list of arms traffickers and their locations; the Syrians called for the deployment of the Lebanese army on the Northern and Eastern borders.
