The Lebanese military intelligence confirmed it has arrested Elias Younis, a former employee in Lebanon's telephone company, OGERO. Younis had started working for the Israeli intelligence in 1977, which makes him the longest serving Israeli agent in the country's history, (so far of course)!. Younis had a "sell everything" strategy, he passed any and every piece of information to the Israelis, from telecommunications (since the 70s!), and routine Lebanese Maritime security measures, movement of ships, human resources information (employees names and data to spot the vulnerable ones for recruitment). Younis reportedly gave the Israelis a detailed map of the telecom network.
In the 1970s, Younis passed on the telecom data of the Palestinian resistance movement, he also passed numbers and personal details of individuals upon request.
