The Times has published an exclusive account of Free Syrian Army soldiers accompanying a funeral of a demonstrator in Damascus suburb, a few minutes away by car from the city center (We confirmed that Sakba is indeed very close to the Capital's center). For the first time, those anti-regime fighters showed up in this Syrian capital's suburb where security forces maintain a strong presence. Mazen Abu Dahab (33 years) was killed by sniper fire in his area, and demonstrators flooded his street during his burial calling for the execution of the Syrian president, according to this Times report.
