Heavy smoke over Homs after Syrian oil pipeline blown up

The attempts to militarise the peaceful revolution in Syria are increasing. The Free Syrian Army, mostly made up of defectors and based in Southern Turkey, is leading the guerrilla fight against the regime's forces. This is a very risky business, it might increase the killing and decrease the international support garnered so far for the Syrian people.
Here is the story of the pipeline blown up:

A Syrian pipeline carrying oil from the east of the country to a refinery in the city of Homs is blown up in what the state news described as an act of "terrorism".

Here is also an interesting analysis of the risks of going violent, I think the stakes are high and not worth it.
