Aleppo joins the revolution

So many videos from Aleppo today. Just a reminder, Aleppo is Syria's largest city, with 2.3 millions, it is extremely important economically and politically, and could very much drag Damascus into the scene. Very interesting report here from the BBC:

PS. The BBC report also discusses more sanctions on the regime, targeting the oil sector. That would deny the government much needed petro-dollars (Euros in this case). It would have devastating effects on the Syrian economy and the basic goods. Ofcourse, the U.S. government and the Syrian opposition abroad don't give a damn if a humanitarian crisis happened in Syria, they probably want it for political reasons. On Humane grounds, I oppose such a move, and I support more diplomatic pressure on the regime.
